Boeing wins $2 billion fixed-price incentive contract for two MUOS satellites.

Boeing has received a $2.0 billion fixed-price incentive contract for Phase II of the Mobile User Objective System satellite service life extension program. The contract covers the design, development, production, launch support, and on-orbit testing of two MUOS satellites. Work will be performed in El Segundo, California, with completion expected by September 2035. The government obligated $204.1 million in fiscal 2026 funds at the time of the award, which was made by the Space Systems Command.
