Adjusted revenue beat expectations despite net loss, driving stock surge.

Peter Thiel-backed crypto exchange Bullish reported a $280 million net loss for the second quarter of 2026, reversing a $108.3 million profit a year earlier, yet its stock jumped 11.7% to $27.50 on Thursday. Adjusted revenue rose 62% year over year to $92.6 million, beating analyst expectations of about $87.9 million, even as digital asset sales fell 44% to $32.6 billion. CFO Dave Bonanno attributed growth to cross-selling across CoinDesk, Consensus, data, indices, liquidity, and the exchange. Bullish went public on Aug. 13, 2025, raising about $1.1 billion at $37 per share, and the stock remains about 26% below that IPO price.
