Capital BCapital B raised €21M via private placement with warrants to expand its Bitcoin reserves.

French Bitcoin treasury company Capital B has raised €21 million, or about $24.5 million, through a private placement to expand its Bitcoin reserves. The company issued 36.2 million shares bundled with four subscription warrants at €0.58 each, attracting institutional investors including Blockstream CEO Adam Back and asset manager TOBAM, with Maxim Group as sole placement agent. Net proceeds are expected to reach about €19.9 million after fees. The funds will primarily be used to buy Bitcoin, supporting the purchase of 270 BTC and bringing potential holdings to 3,415 BTC. The deal also includes warrants that could provide an additional €135.8 million if fully exercised, covering 144.9 million shares with exercise prices of €0.75, €0.98, and €1.27. In June, shareholders approved a resolution allowing up to €5 billion in capital increases. This comes as more than $80 billion has been wiped off the value of companies adopting Bitcoin treasury strategies, according to an FT analysis of the 50 largest corporate Bitcoin holders.
