Carpenter Technology reported record fiscal 2026 operating income of $702 million, a 34% increase over fiscal 2025 and more than five times its fiscal 2023 results. The company's fourth-quarter operating income reached $206.9 million, up 11% sequentially and 37% year-over-year, driven by a record 37.8% adjusted operating margin in its Specialty Alloys Operations segment. Chairman Tony Thene was reappointed as CEO following the sudden passing of Brian Malloy, who had assumed the role on July 1, and stated this is not an interim assignment with no external search planned. For fiscal 2027, Carpenter Technology guided operating income of $850 million to $880 million, representing 21% to 25% growth, and set a fiscal 2029 target of $1.2 billion to $1.3 billion, supported by demand and a brownfield expansion project expected to contribute roughly $150 million in incremental operating income by fiscal 2030.
