Changan Automobile presented its latest new energy vehicle models at the 41st Luanda International Fair (FILDA 2026) in Angola, underscoring its strategic push into African markets. The company displayed the DEEPAL S05, DEEPAL G318, CHANGAN CS75 PLUS, and the new CHANGAN UNI-S in a larger pavilion than in previous years, drawing significant visitor and partner interest. Changan’s participation reflects its Vast Ocean plan launched in 2023, which emphasizes long-term development, localized manufacturing, and a shift from product exports to an integrated global industrial operation. The automaker currently operates in 118 countries and regions, supported by 22 manufacturing bases and a global R&D team of 24,000 people across six countries. The Middle East and Africa represent one of five core strategic regions for Changan, where it is building a comprehensive customer support ecosystem spanning sales, service, after-sales, and spare parts.
