Cloudflare IncQ2 revenue and EPS beat, raised full-year outlook

Cloudflare shares surged nearly 16% after the company reported second-quarter revenue of $696.1 million, up 36% and well above the roughly $665 million analysts expected. Growth accelerated from prior quarters, and non-GAAP earnings of $0.29 a share also beat estimates. Current remaining performance obligations, a measure of contracted future revenue, rose 35%. The company posted a GAAP net loss of $170.0 million, or $0.48 a share, driven by a $150.7 million restructuring charge, but excluding that charge non-GAAP operating income was $96.1 million. Free cash flow was $56.4 million, and the company held $4.16 billion in cash and securities. Cloudflare raised its full-year revenue outlook to a range of $2.864 billion to $2.870 billion and guided third-quarter revenue to about $737 million.
