Apple Inc.Apple unveiled AI-enhanced Siri at WWDC, which analysts see as a catalyst for monetization and stock upside.
Wedbush analyst Dan Ives is standing by his $400 price target on Apple following the company's Worldwide Developers Conference, where it unveiled an AI-enhanced Siri. Apple shares fell more than 5% the week of the event and have been treading water for the last month, as the new Siri features will not roll out until this fall. Ives called the event impressive and said Apple finally unveiled an AI strategy that will unleash monetization opportunities, predicting that 20% of the global population will one day access AI through Apple devices and that AI could add $75 to $100 per share to the stock. Other analysts, including Max Weinbach of Creative Strategies and Gene Munster of Deepwater Asset Management, also expressed optimism, with Weinbach suggesting the free AI features could threaten consumer ambitions of AI companies like ChatGPT and Google's Gemini.
