DeFi Development Corp.Launches a $300M at-the-market offering of CHAD preferred stock to fund further SOL treasury purchases.

DeFi Development said on Monday that its treasury holdings rose by 55.5K Solana to about 2.39M SOL and SOL equivalents, up roughly 2% since August 27, reflecting continued SOL purchases and organic treasury yield. The company also launched a $300M at-the-market offering of its Variable Rate Series C Perpetual Preferred Stock, known as CHAD, with shares to be sold at $10 or more. Net proceeds will be primarily used to buy additional SOL, though the $300M ATM does not mean the company is immediately raising $300M, as sales will depend on market conditions, investor demand, and capital needs. CEO Joseph Onorati said the new CHAD capacity gives the company another funding source to expand its SOL treasury and support SOL-per-share growth. On the market side, DFDV shares traded about 3.15% lower at roughly $4.92 in the pre-market session.
