The new AuditLog feature combines carrier review management and audit logging in a single workflow, automatically documenting risk assessments, management reviews, and onboarding decisions at the time they are made. The launch comes as the U.S. transportation industry faces greater scrutiny following the Supreme Court ruling in Montgomery v. Caribe Transport II, LLC, with Descartes executives noting that the tool helps organizations establish consistent governance and demonstrate reasonable care in carrier selection. AuditLog is available now for all Descartes MyCarrierPortal customers.
