Summary · why it matters

Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, revealed that the Thailand Individual Savings Account, or TISA, project will issue measures by the end of this fiscal year, or around September 2026. The concept is to give people the freedom to choose long-term investments for retirement security, along with equal tax deduction benefits, and there is a trend to remove the multiplier condition. The increase in the investment limit is under consideration. Brokers have assessed the move positively. DBS Vickers Securities stated that if the TISA limit is separated out, it would be even better, and estimated an initial investment limit of 800,000 to 1,000,000 baht per year. Meanwhile, UOB Kay Hian viewed that removing the multiplier will be a key catalyst for increased fund inflows into the stock market. Krungsri Securities assessed that every new 10 billion baht entering the market will support the index by 25 to 30 points, with stocks expected to benefit including GULF, GPSC, KBANK, KTB, ADVANC, AMATA, WHA, BDMS, BH, and AOT.
