Elon Musk has predicted that SpaceX could generate approximately $3.5 trillion in annual revenue by 2033, seven years earlier than Morgan Stanley's forecast of $3.5 trillion by 2040. The prediction came in response to a Morgan Stanley investor note, shared on X, which reiterated an Overweight rating on SpaceX and highlighted the company's potential for 5,800 Starship launches annually from eight pads. Aaron Burnett, CEO of Mach 33, noted that Morgan Stanley's estimate was based on a figure nearly half of SpaceX's stated goal and a decade later than the company's target. Musk's forecast aligns with SpaceX's ambitious plans, including 10,000 Starship launches per year by 2030 and the development of Starbase Louisiana, which aims for its first launch in 2029. SpaceX's stock slipped 0.27% to $140.49 in overnight trading.
