FMC CorporationFMC is selling Newark property for $114M to reduce debt, a capital event.

FMC Corporation has reached a framework agreement to sell its Newark, Delaware property for roughly $114 million in gross proceeds, with plans to use the funds to reduce debt. The transaction is subject to due diligence, closing conditions, and adjustments, and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. FMC will lease back the facilities it currently operates under a separate agreement and retain ownership of adjacent properties in Maryland. The company's Stine Research Center, the global headquarters for its R&D organization, will continue operating at the Newark site, with scientific infrastructure and core research activities remaining fully intact. FMC noted that leaseback and operational terms are still in preliminary negotiations and there is no guarantee the deal will be completed.
