Freedom Holding CorpApproval to acquire Turkish Bank expands Freedom's financial platform and market reach.

Freedom Holding Corp. has received approval from Türkiye's Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency and Competition Authority to acquire 99.32% of Turkish Bank A.Ş. The approval marks a key milestone toward building Freedom's full-service financial platform in Türkiye, where the company is also in the final stage of establishing its brokerage business. Founder and CEO Timur Turlov said the acquisition creates the foundation for scaling a digital ecosystem model that has already attracted 5.67 million users in Kazakhstan, with the potential client base in Türkiye being four to five times larger. Following completion, Turkish Bank will continue under Turkish regulatory supervision and gain access to Freedom's expertise in digital financial services, while Freedom plans a modernization program focused on digital transformation and product expansion. The transaction is expected to expand Freedom Holding Corp.'s presence across Eurasia, the Middle East and Central Asia.
