G Capital Public Company LimitedReported net loss due to provisions for agricultural and tourism debtors.

G Capital Public Company Limited, or GCAP, reported a net loss of 10.86 million baht in the second quarter of 2026 due to setting aside expected credit loss provisions for hire-purchase debtors in the agriculture and tourism sectors, which were affected by conflict in the Persian Gulf region and oil price volatility. Meanwhile, the non-performing loan ratio of the hire-purchase credit portfolio fell to 3.68 percent as of 30 June 2026, from 7 percent at the end of 2025, and total loan disbursements in the first six months of 2026 stood at 88.40 million baht. The company said it will accelerate loan disbursements in the second half of the year, focus on expanding quality lending, increase the diversity of credit products to capture opportunities in agriculture and tourism, and build on new businesses such as hire-purchase loans for electric motorcycles for tourism in the Koh Tao area of Surat Thani province.
