Haad Thip is accelerating its second-half plan by tightening cost controls and launching three new products, after first-half net profit fell 7.5% to 300.3 million baht. Although first-half sales revenue grew 10.3% to 4.4559 billion baht, the company faced pressure from higher energy and transport costs caused by conflict in the Middle East, pushing first-half selling and administrative expenses up 14.8% to 1.5179 billion baht. The company held a 23.8% share of the non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverage market in the South and a 77.5% share of carbonated soft drinks, according to Nielsen Thailand data as of the end of the second quarter. In the third quarter it has already launched three new products: Coke Zero Zero, Sprite Chill, and Fanta Fantasy, which debuted in Thailand as the first market in the world.
