HARMAN, the automotive technology subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, announced it has joined SDVerse, the automotive industry's first B2B marketplace for software, making its software products and engineering services available to automakers through the platform. The company said its initial SDVerse portfolio spans both product and service offerings, including the Ready Link Marketplace white-label app store, the Ready CQuence Loop cloud-based development and validation platform, the Ready CQuence Run type-1 hypervisor, and Ready Care in-cabin intelligence for driver and occupant monitoring. Software services and assets in the initial portfolio include Intelligent Cockpit Middleware, Digital Cockpit Experience Design powered by more than 40 reusable assets, and Software Verification and Validation Services backed by more than 70,000 reusable test assets and global certification labs. HARMAN President and Chief Executive Officer Christian Sobottka said joining SDVerse gives automakers another way to engage with the company's capabilities, while SDVerse CEO Prashant Gulati said bringing HARMAN's portfolio to the marketplace strengthens the ecosystem by giving automakers greater visibility across the vehicle lifecycle. HARMAN said it will continue expanding its SDVerse portfolio with additional software products and engineering services.
