HP IncHP unveiled the ZBook Ultra G3a mobile workstation, its own new AI-focused product with AMD silicon and Perplexity software.
HP Inc. announced the HP ZBook Ultra G3a, a 16-inch thin-and-light mobile workstation it describes as a personal AI factory for professionals, powered by AMD and enhanced by Perplexity. The system supports up to 300B-parameter large language models running locally, with up to 192GB of unified memory and 160GB dedicated to VRAM, and is built on up to an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 chip with a 55 TOPS NPU. Perplexity Computer comes preloaded, including supported integration for Autodesk Revit, and HP and Perplexity have co-developed task-based Skills available exclusively to HP customers. The workstation starts at 4.2 lbs. and 17.9 mm thin, and a new thermal design delivers up to 81.8% higher TDP, enabling up to 100W of performance. The HP ZBook Ultra G3a 16-inch is expected to be available in October 2026, with pricing to be provided closer to availability.
