Infosys announced on August 18 a long-term deal to manage the enterprise software of Knorr-Bremse AG, a maker of braking systems for rail and commercial vehicles, covering ERP, data platforms, engineering and product lifecycle tools and running on Infosys Topaz, the company's AI offering. The win lands alongside results Infosys posted on July 23, in which AI accounted for 8.2% of revenue in the quarter ended June 30 and large deal wins totaled $3.6 billion, 61% of it net new. Operating margin came in at 21.1%, within the 20% to 22% range Infosys kept for its FY27 guidance, and free cash flow reached $955 million, or 116.5% of net profit. Growth remains the weak spot: revenue rose 2.4% from a year earlier in constant currency and just 1.0% from the prior quarter, and Infosys revised its FY27 revenue guidance to a range of 1.5% to 3.0%. Earnings per share grew 14.9% in rupee terms, but basic EPS in dollars rose only 3.7% to $0.20, and the Knorr-Bremse announcement gave no contract value.
