Insmed IncRaises peak-sales estimate to over $14 billion, a 75% increase, and cash sufficient to fund to profitability.

Insmed management has raised the peak-sales estimate for its three lead programs to more than $14 billion, a 75% increase from the prior figure. More than $7 billion of that total is attributed to the already-launched bronchiectasis drug BRINSUPRI, which generated $309.2 million in its third full quarter, and more than $1 billion to ARIKAYCE. The remaining more than $6 billion depends on TPIP, an inhaled treatment for pulmonary arterial hypertension and other lung conditions, which is still in Phase III trials for only two of its four target indications and assumes approval in all four as well as breaking orphan status in one. The company ended June with about $1.2 billion in cash and marketable securities, which management says funds the business to cash flow positivity in 2027 without a current intention to raise capital.
