iQIYI InciQIYI reported a second-quarter non-GAAP operating loss of RMB 30.3 million, narrowing from RMB 148.6 million in the first quarter and bringing the company close to breakeven. Total revenues were RMB 6.3 billion, up 1% sequentially, with membership services revenue of RMB 4.0 billion down 4% sequentially due to seasonality, online advertising revenue flat at RMB 1.2 billion, and content distribution revenue up 9% to RMB 681.5 million. Net cash provided by operating activities increased to RMB 339.6 million from RMB 186.4 million in the prior quarter, and the company held RMB 4.1 billion in cash, cash equivalents, restricted cash, and short-term investments as of quarter-end. Management highlighted a strategic shift toward a decentralized creator and user-centric social media ecosystem and an all-in approach on AI, noting the July premiere of Mystic Tale Chitan as the industry's first AIGC Internet feature film with a drama and film distribution license. The company also said overseas membership revenue grew 40% year over year and that it had repurchased approximately 21.6 million ADS for USD 24.1 million under its USD 100 million share repurchase program.
