It operates a platform offering internet video content, including professionally produced content licensed from providers and self-produced content. The company also produces, aggregates, and distributes online long-form videos, micro dramas, micro animations, micro variety shows, edited video clips, and video blogs, and provides experience services, online mobile games, comics, and other offerings. It offers membership, online brand and performance-based advertising, and content distribution services, and is involved in talent agency and IP licensing activities. Formerly known as Qiyi.com, Inc., it changed its name to iQIYI, Inc. in November 2017. Incorporated in 2009 and based in Beijing, the People's Republic of China, it is a subsidiary of Baidu Holdings Limited.

iQIYI has appointed Ying Tian as its new chief financial officer, effective today. iQIYI Q1 2026 revenue falls 8% sequentially to RMB6.2 billion

iQIYI reported total revenues of RMB6.2 billion for the first quarter of 2026, an 8% sequential decline. Membership services revenue rose 2% sequentially to RMB4.2 billion, while online advertising revenue fell 8% to RMB1.2 billion, content distribution revenue dropped 54% to RMB358.7 million, and other revenues decreased 22% to RMB426.7 million.
