Jasper Therapeutics has secured approximately $132 million in gross proceeds through a private placement of non-voting convertible preferred stock led by Affinity Asset Advisors and Ikarian Capital, following the completion of its all-stock acquisition of Kira Pharmaceuticals on July 16, 2026. The financing is expected to fund planned operations through the second half of 2028. The combined company reported second quarter 2026 financial results, with cash and cash equivalents of $7.3 million as of June 30, 2026, research and development expenses of $5.1 million, general and administrative expenses of $4.1 million, and a net loss of $2.8 million, or $0.10 per share, compared with a net loss of $0.03 million, or $1.74 per share, in the year-ago quarter. Jasper is advancing a portfolio of clinical-stage therapies including KP-104, briquilimab, and KP-701, with interim Phase 2 data for KP-104 in rare renal indications expected in the fourth quarter of 2026, an End-of-Phase 2 meeting with the FDA for KP-104 in PNH planned for the first half of 2027, a pre-BLA meeting for briquilimab expected in the first quarter of 2027, and a CTA or IND filing for KP-701 planned for the first quarter of 2027.
