King Gen PCLSwings to profit on EV revenue and backlog of thousands of B2B vehicles

King Gen Public Company Limited, or KGEN, swung to a net profit of 36.98 million baht in the second quarter of fiscal 2026, from a loss of 71.50 million baht a year earlier, a recovery of 151.72%. Total revenue was 227.59 million baht, up 35.94% from 167.42 million baht, supported by the commercial electric vehicle business, which began recognizing revenue of 89.86 million baht after the OJMT plant started production on 20 April 2026. For the second half, the company expects continued improvement, especially in the B2B segment under the FARIZON brand, which has a backlog of thousands of vehicles awaiting delivery, a significant increase from the first half when only dozens were delivered. Corporate customers such as Big C and Krating Daeng have already placed orders.
