SK Hynix IncKMEM ETF focuses on memory chip producers including SK hynix, citing demand outpacing supply and cheaper valuation
Kurv Investment Management launched the Kurv Memory Select ETF, trading under the ticker KMEM on CBOE BZX. The actively managed fund provides targeted exposure to companies dominating memory chip production, including the current Big Three manufacturers SK hynix, Samsung, and Micron Technology, as well as other major players in the space. Founder and CEO Howard Chan stated that memory chips are becoming the backbone of the AI economy, with demand outpacing supply and creating a potential opportunity for investors. Chan noted that the bottleneck in the sector could continue for at least the next three to four years, and the fund tends to focus on names like SK hynix where valuation is still cheaper compared to competitors. KMEM invests in domestic and international companies involved in designing, manufacturing, and distributing memory chips such as DRAM, SRAM, RAM, Flash Memory, and other emerging types.
