L3Harris Technologies IncExpanding production capacity for PAC-3 propulsion systems, self-funded, with advanced manufacturing capabilities.

L3Harris Technologies has broken ground on two additional facilities at its Arkansas Advanced Propulsion Facilities campus in Camden to boost production of PAC-3 propulsion systems for the U.S. Army. The expansion includes a roughly 75,000-square-foot cast, cure and final assembly facility and a roughly 70,000-square-foot case preparation facility, both self-funded by the company. The new buildings will incorporate advanced manufacturing capabilities such as automated X-ray inspection with AI-driven defect detection, fully automated casting, and expanded curing capacity to accelerate throughput. This move is part of a broader effort that includes approximately 60 facilities and nearly 1 million square feet of manufacturing expansion across sites in Alabama, Arkansas and Virginia.
