London Stock Exchange Group PLCLSEG announces new 24/5 trading venue LSE 24, a product/technology development for digital and algorithmic trading.

The London Stock Exchange announced plans to launch London Stock Exchange 24, a new 24/5 trading venue designed for digital, algorithmic and agentic trading. LSE 24 will operate near-continuously from Monday to Friday, giving global investors greater flexibility to respond to market events and manage risk, while the existing Main Market continues its regular trading hours. Client testing is expected by the end of 2026, with Exchange Traded Products launching as the first asset class in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approval. The venue will combine central limit order book and request-for-quote functionality and may later expand into equities. It will also integrate with LSEG's Digital Securities Depository to support digitised issuance, settlement and asset servicing.
