In addition, the company's EX electronic materials, namely polyolefin resin materials, are important new materials for producing high-end copper-clad laminates and are expected to become a new performance growth engine. The company plans to invest a total of 10 billion yuan in the Dazhou new energy and polymer materials industrialization project, which will be built in three phases. Relying on sulfur resources from the Puguang gas field, the project will internalize the raw material chain. At full production, it will produce 900,000 tonnes of sulfuric acid and 600,000 tonnes of ferrous sulfate as by-products. Ferrous sulfate serves as the core iron source raw material for cathode materials, and its price has risen by more than 100 percent since 2026.
