NVIDIA CorporationSpaceX's AI compute buildout could add $100B in revenue for Nvidia's Vera Rubin chips.
Melius Research analyst Ben Reitzes estimates that SpaceX's planned AI compute buildout could generate an incremental $100 billion in revenue for Nvidia, even if only a fraction of Elon Musk's target is realized. During SpaceX's first public earnings call, Musk committed to building its AI platform exclusively on Nvidia's Vera Rubin chips and floated a tentative goal of 20 gigawatts of compute capacity by the end of 2027. Reitzes calculates that just 2 to 3 gigawatts of that deployment could yield the $100 billion revenue boost, which would add roughly $2 to his earnings per share estimate of $13.36. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has separately projected at least $1 trillion in cumulative revenue from Blackwell and Vera Rubin chips through 2027. Melius maintains a Buy rating on Nvidia with a $400 price target, well above the current price of $211.94, and looks to Nvidia's August 26 earnings report for further details.
