Micron Technology IncAnalyst raises price target to $2,200, implying $2.5 trillion valuation, based on Micron's AI memory dominance.

Melius Research analyst Ben Reitzes has set a $2,200 price target on Micron Technology, implying a market value of roughly $2.5 trillion that would make it the sixth-largest U.S. public company. The target was raised three times in about two months, from $700 in late April to $1,100 in May and then to $2,200 in June, driven by Micron's dominance in high-bandwidth memory for AI systems. Micron's fiscal third-quarter revenue surged about 346% to $41.46 billion, with record gross margin of 84.9%, and the company has secured around $100 billion in long-term customer agreements with memory capacity sold out into 2027. Risks include potential overcapacity, concentration among a few hyperscaler customers, and reliance on sustained AI growth multiples.
