Taiwan Semi beat earnings estimates but fell 4.6% after announcing it would spend between $60 billion and $64 billion this year, up from a prior forecast of $52 billion to $56 billion, and committed another $100 billion to Arizona chipmaking facilities. SK Hynix cratered 9.1%, adding to Wednesday's 13.2% plunge and leaving the stock down roughly 30% from recent post-IPO highs, while Micron Technology dropped 6.3%, Nvidia fell 2.7%, and Broadcom slid 3.6%.
