Space Exploration Technologies Corp. Class A Common StockMorgan Stanley raises bull-case price target to $600, citing Cursor acquisition and growth projections.

Morgan Stanley has raised its bull-case price target for SpaceX to $600 from a base case of $300, citing the company's $60 billion stock acquisition of AI coding platform Cursor. The bank kept its base-case target at $300, which values SpaceX's current rocket launch, Starlink, and AI division at about $12 per share. The $600 bull case assumes Cursor becomes a major recurring software business, Starlink keeps growing, Starship lowers orbital launch costs enough for space-based computing, and investors assign a premium multiple to the whole platform. Morgan Stanley projects Cursor will add $2.5 billion to SpaceX revenue in 2026, about 10% of projected AI revenue, and $13 billion in 2027, roughly 19% of projected AI revenue, with annual recurring revenue reaching $8 billion by end of 2026 and about $33 billion by 2030. Separately, Arete raised its SpaceX price target to $450 from $401 with a Buy rating, representing roughly 224% upside from current levels. SpaceX stock is down about 14.5% from its $135 listing price but climbed above $135 for the first time since mid-July in the three sessions before the report.
