Raising prices on 80% of menu items by 10-60 yen due to rising costs, which may reduce demand or margin pressure.
Mos Food Services announced on the 6th that it will raise prices on about 80% of all items, including hamburgers, side menus, and drinks, by 10 to 60 yen. The increases, driven by rising raw material costs, labor costs, and utility expenses at stores, will take effect from the 15th. The signature Mos Burger will go from 470 yen to 500 yen, a medium French fry from 330 yen to 340 yen, and a medium carbonated drink from 270 yen to 290 yen. Prices for large sizes and some items such as soups will remain unchanged. This marks the company's first price hike in one year and four months, since March 2025.
