NVIDIA reported its fiscal second quarter 2026 results after the market close, with total revenue of $96.2 billion, up 106% year-over-year, beating market expectations by 4.5% and above the company's guidance of $91 billion. The Data Center business was the star, accounting for 93% of total revenue, up 117% to $89.0 billion. Earnings per share came in at $2.22, above the expected $2.10. CEO Jensen Huang said demand for AI chips continues to grow, with third-quarter revenue guidance of $108 billion, up 89% year-over-year, and expects 2027 revenue to grow 70% year-over-year, higher than market expectations. This bodes well for Thai component stocks benefiting from the AI CAPEX cycle, such as HANA, DELTA, and KCE, as well as AI adoption stocks like BBIK, along with power stocks GULF, GPSC, and WHAUP, and contractors STECON, PYLON, and INSET, and industrial estate AMATA. Meanwhile, Apple is set to launch its new iPhone on September 9, which is expected to be positive for consumer IT stocks like COM7, SPVI, and JMART.
