Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the semiconductor industry may need to grow tenfold to about $7.9 trillion over the next decade to support the coming agentic AI boom. Huang made the estimate in a Bloomberg interview, projecting billions of AI agents will drive demand. Nvidia itself stands to benefit, having reported fiscal 2027 first-quarter revenue of $81.6 billion, up 85% year over year, and projecting $1 trillion in purchase orders for its Blackwell and Vera Rubin architectures through 2027. Memory chip maker Micron Technology is another potential beneficiary, with fiscal 2026 third-quarter revenue of $41.46 billion, a 346% jump, and adjusted earnings per share of $25.11, while trading at just 5.3 times forward earnings.
