U.S. stock futures were little changed on Friday after Nvidia's blockbuster earnings reignited the technology rally, with investors now turning their attention to Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh's closely watched speech at Jackson Hole. Nvidia shares jumped 8.7% on Thursday after the chipmaker delivered a stronger-than-expected revenue outlook, helping lift the S&P 500 by 0.7%, the Nasdaq Composite by 1.6%, and the Dow by 0.2%. Meanwhile, PayPal shares plunged 12.2% in after-hours trading after a consortium led by Advent International and Stripe abandoned its takeover pursuit, which had valued the payments company at more than $53 billion. Oil prices climbed after a report that the Trump administration is no longer interested in returning to a June memorandum of understanding with Iran, pushing Brent crude above $88 a barrel. Additionally, The Wall Street Journal reported that Nvidia has paused some deals under a financing program for AI cloud companies, amid concerns about antitrust scrutiny.
