NVIDIA CorporationNvidia's CPU business is highlighted as a key growth driver with $20B revenue expected this year.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will provide an update on the company's $1 trillion GPU sales projection when it reports fiscal second-quarter earnings on August 26. Huang previously forecast that Nvidia will generate $1 trillion in sales from its Blackwell and Vera Rubin graphics processing units between 2025 and calendar year 2027. While the GPU business remains the primary focus, investors should also pay attention to Nvidia's newer central processing unit segment, which Huang says opens a $200 billion total addressable market and is expected to bring in about $20 billion in CPU revenue this year alone. Bank of America analysts expect the CPU total addressable market to grow fivefold from $35 billion in 2025 to $170 billion by 2030, and Intel's CEO has noted the ratio of CPUs to GPUs used for AI inference is shifting toward parity.
