Ornsirin Holding PublicOrnsirin Holding PublicOrnsirin Holding Public Company Limited, or ORN, has partnered with the Environmental Science Research Center of the Faculty of Science at Chiang Mai University to study and analyze biodiversity at the Mill Hill International School Thailand campus and its headquarters. The initiative aims to elevate business operations under the ESG framework in alignment with the FTSE Russell ESG Standard. The project will survey ecosystems and six main groups of organisms: plants, insects, birds, fish, amphibians, and reptiles. It will also assess ecological value and greenhouse gas absorption potential following the guidelines of the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization. The findings will lead to the development of a three-year biodiversity action plan to increase native species, reduce invasive alien species, develop green infrastructure, and promote community participation through Citizen Science and Nature Explorers activities. Mr. Akkadej Udomsirithamrong, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of ORN, said this marks a significant step in applying scientific knowledge to create a balance between residential development, biodiversity conservation, and sustainably enhancing the quality of life for communities.
