AeroVironment IncClass action lawsuit and stop work order on SCAR program, with contract termination and goodwill impairment.

The Portnoy Law Firm has announced a class action lawsuit on behalf of AeroVironment investors who purchased securities between June 25, 2025 and March 10, 2026. The lawsuit alleges that AeroVironment made false or misleading statements by understating the likelihood of imminent competition for its work on the U.S. Space Force's Satellite Communication Augmentation Resource program and overstating its business prospects. A stop work order on AeroVironment's BADGER systems for the SCAR program was announced on January 20, 2026, causing a nearly 16% stock drop, followed by a more than 17% decline on March 2, 2026 after reports that the Space Force was reopening the program. On March 10, 2026, AeroVironment disclosed a $179 million operating loss for its third quarter, including a $151.3 million goodwill impairment in its space division, and the termination of its SCAR contract, leading to a further stock decline of over 6%. Investors have until July 27, 2026 to file a lead plaintiff motion.
