Rocket Lab USA Inc.Completed first integrated rapid-response mission for U.S. Space Force, demonstrating ability to earn revenue from multiple mission parts and potentially leading to repeat orders.

Rocket Lab completed the Victus Haze mission for the U.S. Space Force, marking the first time a single prime contractor supplied the rocket, spacecraft, and on-orbit operations for a rapid-response mission. The company launched its Pioneer spacecraft on an Electron rocket just 16 hours and 42 minutes after receiving final instructions, activated and tested the spacecraft in about 38 hours, and moved it close enough to a target satellite to track, observe, and photograph it in less than 59 hours. The original $32 million contract covered design, manufacture, launch, and on-orbit operations, demonstrating Rocket Lab's ability to earn revenue from multiple parts of a mission instead of only the launch. Rocket Lab will continue operating Pioneer for several months under additional Space Force assignments, testing more advanced tracking and observation capabilities. The integrated offering could lead to repeat orders and higher revenue per customer, though the contract remains small relative to the company's $2.2 billion backlog.
