Right Tunnelling Public Company Limited, or RT, announced that it has secured two new projects from the Metropolitan Electricity Authority, or MEA, with a combined value of more than 1,109.65 million baht. The first project is a consultancy contract to assess damage and prepare repair and renovation designs for the 230 kV underground power transmission tunnel along the Bang Kapi origin station to Chit Lom origin station section, with a project value of 19.15 million baht including value-added tax. The contract was signed on 28 August 2026, with a contract period running from 29 August 2026 to 23 August 2027, undertaken in the name of the Right Tunnelling – Underground Consultant joint venture. The second project is the construction of a project to convert overhead power lines to underground power lines along Srinagarindra Road, between Thepharak Road and Sukhumvit Road, with a value of 1,090.50 million baht including value-added tax. The contract was signed on 9 September 2026, with a contract period of 1,080 days after receipt of the notice to proceed, undertaken in the name of the Ungzae Heng – Right Tunnelling joint venture. The award of these projects reflects RT's continued pursuit of infrastructure work in power systems and underground works, particularly large-scale projects for government agencies.
