Salesforce announced it will invest $1 billion in Switzerland over the next five years to accelerate the country's adoption of agentic AI. The investment will support the company's local workforce, grow its customer and partner ecosystem, and fund AI skills development initiatives across Switzerland. Chair and CEO Marc Benioff made the announcement during a visit to Geneva ahead of the AI for Good Global Summit, where he will co-chair the inaugural meeting of the AI for Good Global Commission. Salesforce noted that Switzerland plays a leading role in shaping AI governance and will host the Global AI Summit in 2027. The company's Agentforce AI platform is already used by Swiss organizations including Oviva, FREITAG, the World Economic Forum, and Syngenta Group.
