Samsung Electronics Co LtdSamsung unveils AI Health Assistant and new health features ahead of Galaxy device launch, strengthening its ecosystem.

Samsung Electronics is expanding its digital health strategy with a new AI-powered assistant designed to provide personalized wellness insights. Samsung Health Assistant will use information collected through Galaxy smartphones, smartwatches and smart rings, with an opt-in beta test scheduled to begin next month. The rollout comes one day before Samsung is expected to introduce new smartphones and watches, suggesting the company may view health software as an increasingly important part of its broader device ecosystem. The system may use calendar events, travel schedules and smart-home activity to tailor recommendations, and users will be able to ask how their sleep, nutrition, activity and other health information interact. Samsung is also adding Vitals, Daily Cardio Load, Heart Health Score, Vascular Load and Fitness Index, and is separately developing a health platform that could launch as soon as late 2026 to help physicians follow wearable data between patient visits.
