Segway-Ninebot's smart electric two-wheelers sold 2.844 million units in the first half, up 19% year-on-year

Ninebot announced that as of August 31, 2026, the company had repurchased a cumulative 5.7116 million depositary receipts, accounting for 0.78% of the total, with a total payment of about 220 million yuan. The buyback plan was approved in June 2026, with total funds of no less than 150 million yuan and no more than 300 million yuan. The repurchase price ceiling was adjusted to no more than 58.78 yuan per receipt due to equity distribution, and all repurchased shares will be cancelled. In the first half of 2026, the company achieved operating revenue of 14.358 billion yuan and net profit attributable to the parent of 1.008 billion yuan. Revenue from software service fees for electric two-wheelers reached 108 million yuan, and the company is boosting membership penetration through a 66 yuan per year VIP value-added service. In overseas business, two eBike models for the US market, Myon and MUXI, have gone on sale, and the global eBike market has exceeded 100 billion yuan. In addition, the Zhuhai manufacturing base is scheduled to begin production in 2027, and the first electric vehicle has already rolled off the line. Since its listing, the company has returned about 2.7 billion yuan to shareholders, including about 2.2 billion yuan in dividends and about 500 million yuan in buybacks.

The Ministry of Transport has proposed to the committee vetting the use of loans under the emergency decree authorizing 200 billion baht in borrowing, requesting budget allocation for two projects totaling approximately 30 billion baht. These include the DLT Support Phase 2 project, worth 6 billion baht, to assist transport operators with fuel costs, and the project to transition seven groups of public vehicles to electric, hybrid, or biodiesel-compatible vehicles such as B20, worth 24 billion baht. This covers taxis, public motorcycles, tricycle taxis, regular and non-regular buses, school buses, and freight trucks. Deputy Transport Minister Siripong Angkhasakulkiat said that if approved, the DLT Phase 2 project could proceed immediately, while the energy transition project is expected to start as early as October 2026. Taotao Vehicles released its 2026 semi-annual report, with first-half revenue of 2.751 billion yuan, up 60.56% year on year, and net profit attributable to the parent of 540 million yuan, up 57.94% year on year. Among these, the electric mobility business achieved sales revenue of 2.109 billion yuan, up 83.08% year on year, becoming the main growth engine; the powersports business achieved sales revenue of 532 million yuan, up 8.62% year on year. The company said the strong performance was driven by the release of localized production capacity in North America, product iteration, and technology research and development. Currently, three production lines for low-speed electric vehicles at its U.S. plant are in stable operation, and a fourth production line is being prepared as needed. In addition, the company is laying out generator set integration and supporting services, offering power solutions to customers such as data centers in North America.
