Semtech shares jumped 9.3% after the semiconductor company announced the sale of its cellular module business to Compal Electronics for $62 million in cash, a move aimed at sharpening its focus on high-growth areas like AI data-center networking. Stifel reiterated a Buy rating and an $188 price target, highlighting potential revenue outperformance driven by accelerating demand for AI infrastructure and an expansion in the 800G and 1.6T shipment cycle.
