Skillsoft lowered its full-year fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to a range of $380 million to $390 million from a previous range of $388 million to $406 million, citing accelerating weakness in its consumer business and the growing impact of AI on coding-related learning demand. For the second quarter ended July 31, 2026, total revenue was $98.2 million, down 2.9% year over year, while dollar retention rate improved to 95% from 94%; excluding consumer, the core enterprise business was roughly flat with a decline of approximately 1%. Adjusted EBITDA from continuing operations rose 7% to $33.4 million, with margin improving to 34% from 31%, and the GAAP net loss from continuing operations narrowed to $15 million from $18 million. Skillsoft also said it remains on track to reach $5 million in platform bookings by the end of the fiscal year, and that it has formed a special committee of its board and engaged advisors to address upcoming debt maturities, with total gross debt of $575 million at quarter end.
