The average selling price of crude palm oil was 38.48 baht per kilogram, compared with 33.75 baht last year, while sales volume declined due to lower fresh palm fruit harvests. The Phanom branch plant began commercial operations, increasing production capacity from 75 to 150 tonnes of fresh palm fruit per hour, and subsidiary A L Palm increased from 60 to 75 tonnes, bringing total production capacity at the end of the second quarter to 345 tonnes per hour, up 35.29% from 255 tonnes at the end of the first quarter. The company is constructing a new plant in Chang Sai subdistrict, Phra Phrom district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, with a maximum investment value of 960 million baht, and expects crude palm oil prices to continue rising in the second half of the year due to strong global demand and Indonesia's B50 diesel policy.
