Space Exploration Technologies Corp. Class A Common StockBitcoin holdings lost $539 million in value, though unrealized gain remains

SpaceX's Bitcoin holdings fell by $539 million in the first half of the year, according to a recent filing. The company's 18,712 Bitcoin were valued at $1.098 billion as of June 30, down from $1.637 billion at the end of 2025, reflecting Bitcoin's roughly 33% drop. SpaceX did not sell any coins, and the position remains above its original cost basis of approximately $661 million, leaving an unrealized gain of about $437 million. The disclosure came alongside second-quarter results showing revenue of $7.81 billion, up 92% from a year earlier, and a narrowed net loss of $541 million. Capital expenditure surged to $18.4 billion, driven by investment in AI infrastructure for xAI, which SpaceX merged with in February.
