Crypto card spending has topped $1 billion as stablecoins move into everyday purchases, with tracked card volume more than tripling in a year. USDC and USDT funded over 70% of spending, with USDC at 50.8% and USDT at 20.3%, as users increasingly paid for groceries, rides and subscriptions. More than 10 million purchases were recorded in the last month, and average transaction volume increased from $59 to approximately $86. Stablecoins are now funding traditional Visa and Mastercard networks rather than replacing them, with consumers using familiar card frameworks backed by stablecoins.
