MicroStrategy IncorporatedCEO states Bitcoin drop to $8k would not stress balance sheet due to cash reserves and manageable debt.

Strategy CEO Phong Le stated that Bitcoin's price could drop to between $8,000 and $10,000, an 86% decline from current levels, without causing stress on the company's balance sheet. At $9,000, Strategy's 843,775 Bitcoin would be worth $7.6 billion, exceeding its $6.7 billion in convertible debt. The company also holds nearly $3.8 billion in cash reserves, enough to cover 25 months of interest and dividend payments, with debt maturities stretching from 2028 to 2032. Le's comments come as Bitcoin trades 49% below its record and Strategy shares are down 80% from their peak, though the company has still acquired over 171,000 Bitcoin so far in 2026 while meeting all obligations.
