MicroStrategy IncorporatedCEO's bullish Bitcoin prediction and plan to continue buying support the company's strategy.

Strategy CEO Phong Le has backed Bitcoin to eventually reach $260,000 and said the company could continue buying even after BTC enters record-price territory. Speaking to Bloomberg, Le defended the company's decision to sell roughly 7,000 BTC, claiming it was managing its capital. He said the sale represented just 0.83% of Strategy's current Bitcoin position, which totals 845,050 BTC, and that the company increased its assets by 34% over two months while reducing net debt from approximately $7 billion to zero. Le added that he does not currently expect further sales as Bitcoin enters what he called a "pretty heavy bull market," and that Strategy could continue to accumulate at levels exceeding Bitcoin's existing record high. The comments arrived days after Strategy returned to the market following a 10-week pause, acquiring 4,603 BTC for $369.7 million between Aug. 24 and Aug. 30, according to an SEC filing. Trader Ted Pillows also expects Bitcoin to reach $100,000 in 2026, but only after a strong weekly close above $83,000, while prediction-market traders on Kalshi price just a 25% chance of Bitcoin touching $100,000 before January 2027.
